4 Possible Targets for Arkansas Razorbacks’ Head Coach

The decision of Arkansas to fire the head coach Chad Morris has left the position vacant. Under the supervision of Morris, who had previously served as SMU’s coach for two years, the team has seen very little progress. Spectators are always seen cheering for players wearing Arkansas Razorbacks Scarf, tees, and sweatshirts, though.

On Sunday, CBS Sports college football released a list of possible candidates who would likely take the opportunity to join the SEC as the head coach. Here are the possible replacements of Chad Morris:

Mike Norvell
Norvell’s hard work with Memphis is enough to justify the reason why he should be the chosen one. According to CBS Sports, his name came up before Arkansas hired Chad Morris. In this span of two years, he has become a mature coach. Norvell, in his fourth season, has the Tigers in disagreement for a Cotton Bowl berth and the AAC title.

Billy Napier
Having worked at Alabama and Clemson, Billy Napier certainly makes a great replacement as head coach. Last year, he has Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 7-2 in the Sun Belt title game. Already, Napier has made a tremendous impression since his playing career, which ended in 2002.

Eli Drinkwitz
Eli Drinkwitz’s wins over North and South Carolina at a Group of five programs have brought attention to his rise. If compared to Chad Morris’ last wins during his a career as head coach, Razorbacks could do far better under Drinkwitz’s vision. At present, Drinkwitz is the head coach at Appalachian State.

Mike Leach
Leach has already shown his willingness to withdraw from WSU and according to CBS Sports, he would be interested in filling up the vacant place. Previously, Leach has been the head coach at Texas Tech. He is regarded as one of the leading offensive minds, just what is needed to boost excitement, in college football.
