UNC Authors the Latest Basketball Rivalry Chapter of UNC Vs Duke This Wednesday
The most recent win of the Tar Heels of UNC over Duke Blue
Devils has taken the college basketball by storm. It’s presumably safe to say
that the team has lived up to its name, given the fact that they’ve won 44 NCAA
Division I team national championships in seven different sports, tied for
seventh all-time and 52 individual national championships.
Zion Williamson, the latest freshmen Duke recruit, who was
one of the top players of this decade, had to leave the game in less than a
minute after tip-off, which ended up helping the Tar Heels win this storied
rivalry of the game. The Blue Devils lost their ranking and are now No. 8 in
the team listings.
On Wednesday night, in front of an interesting crowd that had
former President Barack Obama, director Spike Lee, Hall of Fame baseball player
Ken Griffey Jr. and recently retired NFL star Julius Peppers cheering the
players. The game had something to cheer for everyone. Tragically, during the
second half, Williamson was seen grabbing his knee in pain, after he slipped
and fell unprecedentedly when his left Nike shoe fell apart, while he was
dribbling hard near the free throw line. The blue rubber sole came out from the
white shoe from the heel to the toes along the outside edge, which led to his
foot coming all the way out through the gap.
It’s time you celebrated this legendary win by getting
yourself the best North Carolina Tar Heels clothing to not only cheer
your favorite team, but also to really feel like you were a part of the game.
